Great small ship experience. Wonderful crew and staff. Awesome vistas of Southeast Alaska. Saw most of the wildlife of the area. Want to see Bald Eagles? We saw hundreds in every environment. Cozy atmosphere with a friendly, outgoing staff and crew. Superb cuisine by caring and accommodating galley staff with accomplished chef.

Excellent! Enough options to please everyone. Entree selections were creative but solid.

Our stateroom was small - which we expected in advance - but well equipped and functional. Plenty of hot water water and very comfy beds. On board engineer quick to resolve any issues (we had none).

No gambling, no night clubs, Just what we wanted! Pleasant lounge - just steps from our stateroom. Very interesting evening forums about wildlife, local industry, native culture, etc.

We sailed from Sitka on 5/10/12 and had a wonderful 10 night cruise on this small ship. We were only 37 passengers with a crew and staff of about 17. When we left the boat in Ketchikan there were hugs and a few tears as we met people who we hope are long-term friends - including crew and service staff! This was not a group tour - we had folks from NY, NJ, OH, Kansas, TX, KY, OR, AZ. LA, CA, AK, Australia, New Zealand and other places. This was not a "party cruise" but we had a great time socially. We could visit the bridge at will - they claimed to be lonely if we didn't come help drive the boat. Excellent shore excursions (all included) at several stops - visited Gustavus, Juneau, Wrangell, Petersburg - cruised Glacier Bay, Tracy Arm and Misty Pfor We were stormed out of Skagway/Haines but the crew arranged excellent alternative excursions in Juneau. When we would happen to dock near a hugh ship, we all thought how lucky we were not to be a member of the cattle-call. We knew every crew member by his/her first name and vice verse. We had two naturalists abroad - wonderful young women who knew their stuff and had great smiles and personalities. The food was exceptional - a great chef, sus chef, pastry chef. Good food options and a willingness to meet special dietary needs. This is not really a family cruise - more for mid-age adults - kids would be bored to death.
