We spent almost a year planning this cruise, researched the ports of call, planned excursions, etc. We were unable to port at Monaco and Venice. The scheduled day to port in Venice was my birthday. Now I realize that Carnival cannot control the weather, but the crew's total lack of concern and respect for its paying passengers was totally unacceptable. When asked if they could get us to another port, we were told, "No, we will have a Fun Day at Sea. That was no fun day at sea, and it turned into 2 days at sea, then 2 more after just one port.

Carnival's upper staff, the Captain, the alternate Cruise Director, the Hotel Director, Senior Guest Services Staff, etc, were so rude to the passengers, the alternate CD even had the nerve to say to the passengers, "At least be glad you are not in New York right now, having to deal with Hurricane Sandy." That comment was completely uncalled for, does she have no respect for all those people who lost everything they had?

I have loved cruising ever since 2001, but I will think long and hard before I ever take another Carnival Cruise. The only staff that we felt were doing their utmost to take care of the passengers were our dining room staff in the Sapphire Dining Room, Corina, George & Erimon. Thanks guys for being the only carnival staff that made any attempt to make their passengers feel welcome onboard the Breeze.

The food was so so, the buffets were pretty sad.

Unfortunately, our Cabin Staff was only so so as well.

Onboard activities were sadly lacking.

All my Carnival Excursions were cancelled due to missing the ports.

This trip cost a lot of money and we do not feel we got even half our money's worth. Think twice before taking a Carnival cruise, especially on the Breeze.
