I am not an expert by any means, but the Carnival Dream was GREAT! I was with 11 others and am now looking to go on another Carnival cruise. The ship was big, confusing trying to get to certain areas, but once you found your way, it was not so bad. We did our own thing when it was time to go off the ship to port areas, which was fun! The staff was friendly, happy and always knew our names. We did tip generously, but they were always there with a smile when needed. Our dining staff was the best.,br>
They did everything they could to make our dining experience worth waiting for. I for one did not have one problem that would make my cruise a bad experience. Embarking and debarking was very speedy. We were even there quite late compared to last time. Carnival is the best! We even met up with a couple that we were communicating with on Facebook. Now have new friends from across the US.

The food was great! We really did not wait in too many lines. The Buffet had the longest line, but it's a buffet. Why wouldn't there be lines? We ate in the dining room every morning for breakfast, and for supper. I can honestly say, I wish I had the staff and cooks at home with me. We were never rushed through a meal, and we never had to wait for the whole party to show up, to order our meals. The Steakhouse was excellent! The best steak I have ever had. I will definitely be doing that again.

Our stateroom was always clean and the towel animals were entertaining. Not sure what a few of them were, but they were cute! Mandela and his crew always had a smile, knew our names and whenever we needed something they were there. No problems what so ever! The flat screen tv was great, the mini fridge came in handy and I am looking forward to another cruise!

I loved Dancin' in the street! I was really brought back to the 80's era! I Loved it! I also enjoyed watching the marriage game and all the little variety shows that they have on ship! The hairiest chest is hilarious! The Newlywed game was a riot! I did end up winning a free gift, so that was a plus.

We choose to do our own thing when we get into the different ports. We did a private beach and snorkeling tour in Belize, loved the beach. We did not snorkel. The only thing I did not like, the water was really rough that day, so the tender to shore and back was really rough. The loading and unloading at the beach was an experience I hope I never have to do again. Other than that, it was great!

I for one, am hooked on the whole cruise thing. I have only been on 2 cruises, but, I plan to go on many more. Next time my kids will be with me. Carnival is the best and am hoping they are the cruise line I am with on the next family cruise. The Dream was big, not always better, but we loved it and hopefully all the little kinks are worked out and those that live to complain, they have a hard time finding something to complain about. Our experience overall was wonderful and full of fun and entertaining activities. The staff was amazingly friendly, happy and courteous. Never had a problem anywhere on the ship that would make my whole experience bad. Will return for another fun cruise!
