Short wait in line to get in to the terminal and then, again, short wait in line to get sail and sign card. I thought the ship was clean and well maintained. There were no signs of wear and tear yet. There is a lot of walking if you are completely at one end and need to get to the other. It is over three football fields long. I would reserve a mid ship cabin next time instead of an aft cabin. The girls thought the Spa was wonderful. I did not go to the Spa.

I thought the food was good, not great. Some of the food "stations" are hard to locate at first and are still out of the way once you locate them. Deck 10 is Lido deck where most of the buffet food is located. Yet, the Pasta Bar is located one deck up.....why? The Deli is located outside near the aft pool. Why? Barbeque Ribs is located on Deck 5 outside...why? Deli sandwiches were lacking meat....where's the meat? Lasagna was good. Pizza was okay... Burgers and Dogs were good....they even have chili, kraut and fried onions for them. Dining room had plenty of choices of entrees each night. Fish, Beef, and Vegetable offerings were plenty. The Chocolate Melting cake everyone is raving about came in different consistencies every night. Entertainment in Dining Room was not up to par compared to other cruises I have been on. Matre'd never came by our table the entire cruise in Crimson Dining Room....Service from our waiter and his assistant was so/so. Although they were very friendly they forgot water and or bread on some nights. Plus, if you want another meal just order it...they will bring it.

Stateroom was clean and adequate. We had aft stateroom on Main Deck and found it to be quite a distance to walk to get to the shows at the front of the ship. It was quite noisy at times also when pulling into ports. The steward, Carlos, was more than adequate and was very friendly. He knew our names and addressed us every time he saw us.

Activites are the usual cruise ship activites...nothing new. However, it was all good. There was one activity I was involved in and the entertainment staff person showed up 30 minutes late. Some did not wait and missed out on the activity because of the tardiness.

We didn't do any excursions. We've been to the islands so many times we go on our own. Walked around Nassau for a few hours. On St Thomas we took a taxi to Coki Beach and rented some lounge chairs and hung out on the beach. In my opinion it is one of the nicest beaches for lounging, snorkeling, and has the availability of food and beverages. It is somewhat under construction. But, overall found it clean and would recommend to singles and families. $5 for lounge chair rental and $5 for snorkel rental. Beer was reasonable too. Then went down town and did some shopping. Met the shopping experts, Carnival Staff from Dream, and they were more than helpful in purchases at Diamonds International. St. Maarten we just walked around town and visited the many shops.....and I mean many. We have been to Orient Beach before and after sunning all day in St Thomas we skipped it this time.

We enjoyed the Serenity area on the front of the ship. We found it quiet and clean. However, we witnessed many lounge chairs being saved. I thought the bar area in the Serenity Deck was tended by some great staff from Bali. They remembered our names and were very personable. The Waves pool was packed and the large screen was amazingly clear. Overall I thought it was well worth the money. I never waited in the "long lines" others have talked about and did not smell "the smell." Nassau was a total waste of time. I was told the only reason they stop there is to dump the Dream's garbage every other week. Didn't experience the problems some of the others were talking about. I thought Butch, Entertainment Staff, was excellent. Go, enjoy your cruise. I am sure you will.
