Overcrowded : 4400 people - Ship too big to dock in Roatan b3ecause of weather conditions = another day at sea. With folks reserving lounge chairs on deck at the crack of dawn ther were no chairs left by 9 am. Had to just keep wandering around untl somehting open43d up. Worse than finding a parking spot at a busy store.

Steakhouse was very good. the fomral dining was also generally very good but some of the desserts were undoubtedly premade and not the greatest. Buffet was just OK. The food bars were a nice fall back with Sushi, great pizza, etc available after hours.

clean with more than adequate storage. Good staff. But we had noise from the galley above at night. Don't book on deck two under galley. They did give us a discount on the cruise though, because of the noise.

Comedians were good. Some shows were good Bands and karioke so - so Otherwise not much that excited us.

Some older adults might want to stay away especially when there might be a lot of kids aboard. there were 1100 out of 4400 passengers that were children during our cruise. Tendering process to shore at Belize was tiresome. Otherwise ruins there were great. Had a catamaran cruise with snorlkeling booked for the shore excursion in Roatan but missed it cause the ship couldn't dock in the high winds and seas. The 90,000 T. legend could dock though. Mini Jeep Rhino Tour at Costa Maya did not turn out to be exactly as advertised on the Carnival booking site. They loaded us in a truck and drove around for a while then dumped us out to ride the utility ATV's through the "jungle"/brush for about 40 minutes then badck to the beach. The beach ",Rio" I think, was nice though and the best bar on the cruise. Rented a jeep in Cozumel for $70 and found out later we could rent a driver and van for $128 all day. Beach club there with all the beach toys was fun and drinks were reasonable (especially when compared to the ship).

Will look for another ship next time if we go again. Cost of crusie not bad but RT airfare to embarkation point, travel agent fee, travel insurance, on-board costs, and shore excursions more than double the end costs. Can take several folks on a real nice party trip in the states for the $4000 total that we spent on the cruise.
