Itinerary: eastern Caribbean
Large ship with too many rooms, too few staff, leading to very bad service. Long lines from day one for all the buffet meals. Almost impossible to find a table after in the Lido deck (Gathering). If able to find, had to wait for it to be cleaned. Slow service in the main dining rooms. Long, long wait between courses. Shows were very mediocre and hardly worth the time. I was hustled by the cruise line to give up two delux ocean view rooms (we had 4 seniors) for the largest suite on the ship (Grand Suite). We paid extra and had trouble moving around (very tight). Anyone who has cruised other cruise lines will not like Carnival. I paid for a Roll Royce and was delivered a Volkswagon. Do yourself a favor and choose another cruise line. Carnival caters to children and the needy.
Mediocre
Overpriced
Very boring and childish
St Maartin is nice.
