This was my 15th Cruise, 7th with Carnival. Ship is very nice. Cabins are very comfortable. Plenty of activities and action onboard. Serenity (adults only) area is very nice. Good luck getting a spot though. I went up at 8 am on the last sea day and barely got a spot. There are a multitude of secluded areas you can go to for peace and quiet. Embarkation and Debarkation were both very well organized. However, The crew on this ship could use a major overhaul. The ones I dealt with were very unfriendly and had a strictly business mentality. Worst crew ever. Communication from the Bridge during an extremely rough sea and wind event (day and a half) was non- existent. We were told on the evening before arrival at St Thomas that we would be getting into port 2 hrs late due to the conditions outside. However, I woke up and found we had actually arrrived a few minutes earlier than originally scheduled.

I had made new plans for my group of 26 based on the info they provided, made adjustments with my excursion and transport folks etc. Come to find out that we had a medical emergency onboard and were able to make up the time and get to port as originally scheduled. No offense to the person who needed medical attention, but if the time could be made up, why didn't they just make it up. Instead they inconvenienced 3000 people, for what? I never could get an answer form the crew members I asked about it.

Overall, a cruise is what you make it, however you can't control everything, and the things you can't control are what you notice most. Also good luck getting elevator service on this ship. There are plenty of them, but for some reason you always wait, and when you finally get one, plan on stopping on every floor. I have Never seen this before. It wasn't only during peak times, It was always.

Overall the food was below average. Ship layout was acceptable and easy to navigate. ports of Nassau, St Thomas and St Maarten were all pretty good as usual. The Stop at Nassau was too short, which caused a serious backup when everyone tried to get back on at the same time. They even had all 3 gangways open and it still took us 45 mins to get back onboard. Even though a good time was had by all in my group, It was still amongst the worst overall cruise experiences I have had as far as expectations being met. I would reccomend serious reconsideration before booking on the Dream.

Food was no so good on the Lido Deck. Pasta bar and Fries were the exception. Dining room food was pretty good

Stateroom was very nice. Had extended balcony cabon aft #6490.

Activities onboard were plentiful. Lots to do if you schedule your days.

Find the St Thomas catamaran sail to St John onboard the "Daydreammer" which sails from the Sugar Bay resort. Have done many Cat tours over the years. This one topped them all. Beautiful vessel, great crew and breathtaking\water and surroundings. I booked this tour through Island Marketing ltd.

I summed it all up in my opening paragraphs
