This cruise could've been titled Dream; Trick or Treat. Carnival as well as the travel agent we booked through did a good job with updating the status of the cruise. We were notified on Friday, Oct. 26th that the departure would be delayed by one day.

The Dream is a cattle boat. For being the "flag ship" for the line it's a bust. More people and less staff equals poor service. Carnival should dry dock the Dream and update it. You will find that smaller ships have just as much to do on board as you will find on the Dream...but with less people.

This trip has turned me off of Carnival and will try RCI next go around.

Boring. No coffee on Lido deck during breakfast hours. Greasy and cold food in main dining room.

When the wind wasn't blowing we could get some sleep. When the wind was blowing the creaking and popping noises of the balcony was horrible.

Not enough deck chairs to accomodate the larger crowds.

Tours? Book 'em through off ship lines.

Carnival has played to the lowest level on the Dream. Service was poor at best, the staff is stressed and you as the traveler can see it in the work and attitude. With the lower prices for the cabins the people who travel now are rude and really add a new take in adventure in travel.

A lot of small things add up to a big bummer. Coffee was a premium to find during the breakfast hours on Lido as the coffee machines were broke or were just brewing at 7:30AM.

Twice we lost access to the balcony as they used 4hrs to clean them on "At sea" days. Why they didn't clean it during port days when folks were gone is beyond me.

Septic tank nearly cleared the 5th floor all together, the smell was so horrible you could hear some folks dry heaving as they caught a good whiff. The smell was around for two days.

Would NEVER travel on the Dream again.
