First off I want to praise our bartenders on the Ocean Plaza. Yes we were drinking heavily, but they were so friendly and entertaining, everyone we met felt the same way. They took care of us and had fun doing it. That way we had fun too. So Darunee, Ampanan and Jeerasuda, here's to you ladies, you held it down every night and made it fun for us all! We all felt special every time and landed at your station each night we were out. I can't say enough about you and wish you well. Also, our room crew were always on point. Stateroom 7376 was always hooked up with ice for my water and clean and ready when we returned. Smiles every time we saw them and comments if we looked nice. I wish I had their names because I have gone on several cruises and these guys exceeded the past experiences.

Overall, everything went smoothly, with luggage express, and the helpful personnel at the airport and terminal. Over all this is the best experience we have had to date. The only issue is my husband and family were given a gold card and I had a red card, even though we have always traveled together. This was not resolved even though the service desk said they would call us after having the research done. We never heard back on this issue and it still needs resolution.

The breakfast eggs and other foods ended up always cold because of the winds on deck. Nothing much that can be done. Only other thing is the salt shakers were always clogged up and if you open them it was brown gook. They needed to be cleaned more often and why not rice to keep them from clumping? The brown looking salt was off-putting and if we had to open the salt shaker, that meant cleaning the top of the shaker and shaking out dirty looking salt first before using clumped up salt.

Always cleaned on time and ready when we returned. Stateroom 7376 was always hooked up with ice and ready for us.

The clubs were pretty good this time with DJ Scribbles playing many types of music. We enjoyed him on the Lido Deck the first day and 3 nights at Caliente. Although specifically latin was a little long for the crowd who gathered. By then he left, I would have preferred his music offering to the DJ who took over. I ended up leaving.

Honduras and Belize were great. Still have the Mexican and Costa Maya shopping trials. One guy told a women she was ripping them off. She was so flustered when she actually made a sale, for them to say thank you for ripping us off. Maybe both sides need to make some changes if we think we can make a deal for a low price cuz they want to sell merchandise, and they think they can hike the price but will take much lower prices for a sale in desperation. Neither are happy but it is fostered by these 'shop villages'. Better to have an excursion than shop in this environment. There's gotta be a better way!

Overall, DJ Scribbles, Darunee, Amapanan and Jeerasuda, my room crew for room 7376 and the dining room crew of 3 for table 352 (Orlando) were great. We went on the Discover Roatan trip, which was so great an we loved our tour guide Lena. We left wishing we could do more for the people and our guide. This tour was beyond our expectations, but the people need more support and this trip needs more exposure.
