This was the best cruise I've ever been on. The ship was 2 hours late into port, this didn't bother us, especially when we heard why...Conquest has rescued I think (18) Cuban refugees from the wavy gulf. Cozumel nor grand Cayman would let the refugees disembark. so... When we got onboard in Galveston the Cubans were still onboard. They weren't let out of the crew area though, I don't think it would have bothered me if they did, Other than this Embarkation was smooth!

It was spring break, and there were TONS of teenagers, it didn't seem to bother us. Embarkation was great, long lines, but that's normal. The ship itself was clean, it looked brand new. Other ships I've been on are questionable about age...The food was great! Our cabin never seems to get messy, our steward was ON TOP OF IT! I cant stress enough how much that makes cruises better. The first night was rough and it make me kinda sick, so was the first day. I got used to it though. On the 2nd night I believe the ship we stopped around midnight, I was kinda nervous when I saw a coast guard boat about a football field away. Come to find out we were letting the Cubans off, were they were going to take them, I don't know...The next morning our cruise director came over the PA, and explained the entire situation, and what had taken plane the night before. CNN, CBS, and all those news channel talk like Carnival and other cruise lines HIDE things like this, I disagree....

Anyway, the 3rd day

Jamaica:
I liked it, it was very beautiful. Although the locals were annoying, rude, and greedy.

4th day

Grand Cayman:
Very nice, and clean, you could have eaten off the streets. Me and my wife and our kids did the Stingray City tour, it was great, the water was FREEZING! but its was worth it, even the money hahaha! We asked a local about how many ships a day are there, he say 6-10, we were there when there was 5 and it was considered a "slow day" wow!

5th day

Cozumel:
My favorite place, we went to Playa Mia beach, its a "all inclusive" meaning if u pay one price u can have open bar and buffet, this is an optional package though. Cozumel overall is pretty busy in the streets, especially now that the hurricane has construction going on a lot! The tendering in Cozumel took FOREVER!!!

Conquest was the biggest ship in all the ports, which was kinda a cool feeling, especially for the kids, you could tell.

Carnival so far has done nothing but satisfy us, all 4 of our cruises have been with them, and I have no "major" complaints.
