Carnival Cruise Lines

I would like to start off by saying that the crew on the ship was wonderful. I recently went on my 3rd cruise and by far the Conquest is by far one of the best. As far as getting on the ship it was a relaxing time (VIP Skippers Club is the way to go) We were on the ship in about 20 min. Once on the ship everything was perfect. The Lido deck is where it was happing and I could smell those hamburgers a mile away.

The Captain gave out daily reports over the microphone when we were out to sea. I thought that was a nice feature to do. The staff was up and beyond perfect as far as keeping drinks at the ready while on the sun deck. I really enjoyed the service.

The dining room staff in the formal dining room was a really pleasant evening. The food was plentiful and my tea glass never got below half full. Hats off to the staff in the dining room.

The room stewards were on top of everything. My wife and I were going to dinner and I mentioned to my wife that I wish I had brought another pillow, and when we returned back to our state room I had not 1 but 2 pillows!!!!!) They have great hearing because when I told her that I saw no one in the hallway!

As far as the ports I do have to say that Montego Bay is a interesting area. I strongly, very strongly, advise anybody going to this port to take only a Carnival excursion. While we were in Montego Bay we did the sail & snorkel We had to do that trip due to the fact that the Sandals excursion was cancelled adventure. It was alot of fun. We did hear that in Montego Bay 2 young boys 18yrs old went off on there own, That evening around 2 the ship was calling for somebody to come to the dock fast very fast. It turned out that the 2 boys bought some "Ganga" and had a good time until they got back to the ship and saw the guy they bought it from standing there with Carnival security. It turned out that the guy that the boys bought the good stuff from was a undercover cop. It was going to take $50,000 per boy to keep them from going to jail! So, be CAREFUL in Montego Bay.

In Grand Cayman I had a good time, We all did. If you decide to take the Botswaina Sea Turtle Farm excursion there is a 20 extra charge if you want to swim in the lagoon beside the shark tank. That information is left out in the booking information. It even says snorkeling in the information for 49$ but it does cost extra. On the strip in Grand Cayman if you plan to shop take money. I ordered 1 bucket of beer at Margaritaville and it cost 35 dollars!!!!!!!

Cozumel was as always a BLAST prices are great, water activity is perfect and you can get one heck of a tan!!!!!! I would have to say that Cozumel is a fun port. The main pier is now open and you can walk off the pier right into down town no more tenders in and no taxies!!!!!!!!

Overall we had a great time everything on the ship was great I would do another cruise on the Conquest at the drop of a hat.
