Overall, I thought this cruise was extremely disappointing. This was my first experience with Carnival having been on the other cruise lines previously. I thought the ship was extremely cramped. Lines for the buffet averaged 20 minutes which was irritating. The worst aspect of this cruise was the poor beverage service. It was impossible to get a diet coke anywhere on the ship. The activities were boring unless you love Bingo. The pool and jacuzzi were always full and if you walked more than 10 feet you would bump into someone who was not friendly. There was also a constant mildew odor throughout the ship. This ship needs to be refurbished immediately for it to be somewhat competitive with NCL. Nothing special. The strawberry bisque was good. The meat was overcooked. The worst aspect was again, the lines. Standard. The room was kept clean. Needs some more variety. The shore excursions were the best part of the cruise. I think Carnival tries to keep days at sea for this ship at a minimum because they know the ship is old and cramped. This was my first and last experience on Carnival. The "clientele" on this ship was not what I was expecting. If you are not of the lower-middle class, I would avoid this cruise line.
