We had a fabulous time aboard the Destiny, I had read a lot of neg things about this ship before we went, but let me tell you there was nothing to worry about. Yes I think the cabins are a little dated, but the ship is very very claen and in great shape. I loved the adult hot tubs and pool and the fact that the rules of no kids was enforced, don't get me wrong I love kids but it was nice to be able to enjoy the pools with out them (smile). The staff was wonderful and service was great, the Cayman's were beautiful. We caught a cab to the seven mile beach and had a great relaxing time. In Jamaica we had a blast, we did the bamboo beach club, now I must say if you like to drink and dance and have a lively enviorment then this is the place for you. But if you're looking for a quiet relaxing time beware!!!. They offfer unlimited food served tapas style, now to be honest the food was not that good but they also serve unlimited rum punch, red stripe, mojitos, well after a few of those people were eating the food like it was the best thing they ever had. (he he). We managed to have a good time and even got up and dance it was fun especially if you're a drinker.

The food. OMG the food, well let me start by saying the Lido deck food, the bistro, Happy Valley, Pizza, New York Deli was always hot, good and plentiful. But my hat goes off the the chefs in the Galaxy dining room, OMG!!! there was nothing that I ordered all week that I didn't enjoy. Everything was cooked to perfection and always hot, our servers were execellent, served dishes in the right order, we never sat to long before the next dish was presented and always with a smile, the service as well as the food was unreal. This has made me consider doing the Destiny again next year, I just wish I knew if the same staff and chefs would be aboard.

The stateroom was very spacious, I thought the bathroom was a little small and the decor was a little dated, but it didn't take away from my cruise experience at all. We had OV#1193.

Did not partake in the activities, but it looked like the people who did had lot's of fun.

All in all it was a great cruise and I was very happy with the Destiny and I would sail on her again in a minute!!!
