This was my first and LAST cruise! The staff was rude, most did not understand English. The food was so,so. Our Cabin on the Veranda deck (8) had spiders and ants. The towles were stiff and had hairs on them. Our A/C died and we placed a call, they said they would be up to fix it but never showed. The phone then died and again we were told they would be up to fix it but the staff never showed.

The ship broke down many times during the sail and we were late to the ports of call. The shit broke down again and we were told to check our flights because we would be late arriving. People packed the lobby at departure time because we were told that we would be arriving at 9:30 but when we all stood there for hours and hours we were told "No one said 9:30 am " and we were laughed at. Fights broke out as people were angry at Carnival for not having a plan in place to get people off the ship.

It was OK at the buffett. The dining room was the only nice place to eat (Our head waiter was wonderful in the Universal dining)

Room service Needs improvment

We were on deck 8 and the noise from the ship breaking down was unbelievable (Can't imagine what deck 1 sounded like)

The casino was not very good. It was filled with smoke and had huge crowds.

Stay away all together from this Destiny ship, after it broke down many times they still filled it up with the next group. It's all about money for them.

The deck waiters would really push those drinks and if you did not want one of those ($10.00 Drinks) they gave you an attitude. I will not use Carnival ever again.
