This was my wife and I's first and now our last cruise. We should have known something was wrong when we left over 4 hours late. Our dream of going to Jamaica and Grand Caymans was lost when after the first full day on the water they announce that we aren't going to Jamaica because of engine problems. In the middle of the night while we slept, we were informed that we were going, not to Grand Caymans but Nassau. All we got in return for our dream vacation changed was a sorry and our port fee returned. As if it wasn't bad enough that we didn't go where we wanted, we couldn't get off the boat until 11:00 am leaving fewer hours of daylight to enjoy the beach. What did Carnival get, another day of people stuck on their boat buying their expensive drinks and gambling in their casino.

Food in the main dinning room was good. Their Wait Staff was very friendly. Too bad they had to deal with upset travelers. It wasn't their fault that the Captain made bad decisions.

Our stateroom was nice, but I had heard that 2 floors were without air conditioning.

They were ok, but with now 3 full days at sea the boat it was getting very boring. They need to project their pool-side activities on the big screen so others can see.

Don't travel on Destiny, or check to make sure the boat is in working order. I wish we knew that the boat had problems with 2 other cruises before ours and we might have known we were on a broken ship.
