I had a great time on my cruise to Nassau and Grand Turk island. I had read many bad reviews about this ship but found almost none of them to be true. I went on the five day cruise from Miami with a friend who had never been on a cruise before. We did not realize that spring break was that week so there were a lot of collge students on the ship. This might have been a negative aspect for some people but not for us. Many of the problems other reviewers wrote about on this site have to do with that persons attitude. Do not go on a Carnilval cruise and expect five star treatment!! The staff on the Destiny were all very nice.Yes some of them did not speak English very well, but if you take the time and are friendly towards them, you will have no problems. I can't wait to go on another Carnival cruise!

It wasn't five star but it was mostly very good. You had many choices and the staff were all very nice.

I loved my room!! It was on the seventh floor near the back of the ship. No engine noise, just the baby in the room next door crying. I loved the balcony! and if you don't let the shower curtain cover the drain, the shower will not over flow.

The activities were THE BEST!!! I won two " ships on a stick" The entertainment was the best part of the trip for me. My friend and I laughed so hard, tears were comming down our cheeks!

We went on the snorkle and sail ride on Grand Turk. I had never snorkled before but I still had fun. The water is beautiful and we saw many pretty fish.

If you want to have fun go on a Carnival cruise! If you can't have fun on this ship it is your Own Fault!! I had a blast and want to go again with a bigger group. We could not go to Half moon cay due the tide and rough waster which was a disssapointment, but we had fun anyway.
