Room Service Steward was great! His name was Gustav and very attentive and always made us feel great. All the Lido deck personnel were terrific and attentive! Galaxy Dining hostess wasn’t so great, likes to say no a lot and don’t seem to want to work with the guests or accommodate requests. Food was good in both the dining rooms and the buffet area. 24hr pizza station. Hamburger and Hotdogs available on Lido deck during day hours. Food was good, not outstanding but good! Our biggest complaint: NOONAN, the cruise director. He in my opinion, my husbands and others we met on the ship was not very good at all. Horrible jokes, not funny what so ever. I don’t know what they were thinking giving him this job. Tell you the truth the girl from Canada that is always all over the Lido deck would be much better by far. I even told her that myself! Noonan has to go! You barely ever see him. You hear his obnoxious voice all over the speakers all day but never see him unless you go to the nightly show but that’s why we avoided the show. We saw him once on the last day of the cruise as we were walking off. I thought you usually see the cruise directors all over getting involved and actually entertaining but not this guy! Ports of Call: Ocho Rios Jamaica: (overall 2 stars) I would not visit again. Locals cannot take “No” for an answer! They’d sell more if they were just upright and honest with tourists and give everyone a break. They follow you down the street after still telling them you’re not interested. You feel like getting back on the ship after 10 minutes of walking off. It is impossible to just browse without being harassed. We visited Dunn’s River Falls but just the beach there. We didn’t climb the rocks since there were so many people. We heard the beaches near the ship port weren’t so great either. Big dips in the sand once you’re in the water (man-made?) Grand Cayman Island, 7mile Beach: (overall 4 stars out of 5) We got off the ship and did a horse back riding excursion on the other side of 7mile beach. 2hr 30 min. Awesome! The owner let my husband and I trot a bit with the horses. We rode alongside the ocean about 3 miles down and back again. I would definitely do this again but go with the option too swim with the horses and bring them in the water next time. Driver then dropped us off at 7 mile beach where we enjoyed the beach and beautiful stunning views. We’ll be back here again! Shopping stores were nice and very different than Jamaica. You can actually enjoy yourself here and relax!

Food was good, not outstanding but good!

Clean, sufficient space and great steward that always took care of us. no complaints

blah......especially with Noonan. Overall the activities were alright, nothing too exciting.

Dont miss: Grand Cayman horseback riding. Name of the place "Spirit of the West" Carnival doesnt offer this excursion onboard so book before you go directly with them or with Orbitz. Stay away from: Jamaica. Dirty...not relaxing. (see notes above)
