What an amazing trip this was! This was our first cruise so we read as many reviews as possible. The ship is in great shape. Constantly kept clean. The pools are small and with salt water, but the Jacuzzis in the gym are not, and they are great, since no kids are allowed. I loved the Bon Voyage party the first night as we left San Juan. ST Thomas is a beautiful Island. Good shopping here, specially jewelry. We also did the Coral World Tour. Dominica is very poor, but the people are great. Here we visited the beautiful Emerald Pool. Barbados was my second favorite. The beaches here are breathtaking, we took the Malibu rum distillery tour. And the best for last, Aruba is my favorite of them all. Beautiful Island, lots of shopping to do and good prices on souvenirs. That night we went to Carlos N` Charlie's. Its just a short walk from the ship and it`s nice and loud although i expected it to be much bigger. Our two days at sea were very good, we had good sunshine both days and just relaxed in the sun and shopped onboard. Its always nice to go and see the photo gallery. Me and my friend had some old time photos taken. Both formal nights were very good, its nice to get dressed up and take nice pictures. The point after dance club was always our favorite place to hang out late at night, and of course, we also enjoyed the 24 hour pizzeria and ice-cream machine. Our waiters Rosauro, Ignu , Fernando and Stephen were amazing and our room stewardess Adriana always kept our room nice and clean with lovely towel animals and chocolates in our beds. Our room was 6157 upper deck /interior cabin, we found it to be of a pretty good size. We had a great experience on our first cruise and we cant wait to cruise again on Carnival Destiny!
