Don't take this cruise. I am an experienced cruiser and have never been abused by staff until this cruise! Rude and insulting security ruined my trip and made me want off this ship by day 2. When I requested my cruise guarantee, I was told that the guarantee applies only within the first hours of the cruise while at sea-translation: does not exist. In my "VIP" suite, my steward explained that the staff is also abused by those in charge and that pictures of passengers are actually displayed in staff open areas for staff to mock and humiliate. Food was also terrible. Pasta sauces consisted of canned tomato soup on multiple nights. Waiter was unable or unwilling to provide salt, pepper, grated cheese, or even ordered courses on occasion. I booked excursions on in room TV, but when I attempted to cancel one due to anticipated poor weather several days ahead of the stop, I was told that the sign at the excursion desk precluded refund! I not only will never take another Carnival cruise, I will not go on any line Carnival owns ie Costa, Princess, Ibero, etc.
