The overall experience was not as we had expected. This was the third carnival cruise. The food was less than par and seemed to be often if not always warmed over in the dining rooms. The room was kept well and were impressed with Dennis our steward on both cleanliness and friendlyness. When boarding the ship we were detained in line an extra hour or more because of defective boarding cards our children received ( also at least 50 people in line when we boarded with similar problems). The entertainment was good and the Steak House was excellent with both service and quality of food.

The food was sub par in both quality, menu, and attention to service standards. The menu was very similar to previous trips on Carnival. The food tasted warmed over in the dining rooms . On both the breakfast and dinner dining we had breakfasts on two occassions takiing over an hour to complete dining as well as our servers serving stale croissants every day and burned toast scraped being served during breakfast . The servers were polite and courteous.

The stateroom was clean and our steward Dennis was excellent . He was both friendly ,helpful, alert to any request we made.

Onboard activities were good, John was a great comedian, kept everyone laughing during his entire performance.

Don,t miss the Stingray excursion in the Caymans , and the Zip line in Jamacia.

The overall value of our trip is not as expected and we will use careful consideration making our next cruise booking
