This was our first carnival cruise and I really wasn't expecting much however I was very disappointed in the food especially in the main dining room. I had "very fishy" Mahimahi (obviously not fresh), gristle in the Stroganoff and dried out prime rib. I also was disappointed in the lack of variety on the menu. They changed a few things each night but overall it was the same thing each night. Please a little more variety!! We did have a balcony room and we were very happy with it and enjoyed morning sunrises and just relaxing on the balcony during the cruise. Our room was located on deck 8 so it was very convenient to just about everything. After coming home I did some research on the internet about Diamonds International, a retailer at most of the ports, the shopping advisors were recommending. I was happy we decided not to buy anything b/c of all the bad reviews. It just seems very odd to me that quite a few cruise lines are behind this company. I wonder what's really going on????

Fair to poor in the main dinning. For breakfast in the main dinning room we were served small deep fried silver dollar sized potato cakes. I couldn't believe! Was I eating at McDonald's??? We ate at the steakhouse ($30 per person) and it was all very good so you know they can serve quality food. The buffets for lunch we good, nice variety and overall the quality was good but you could see it slipping as the cruise was nearing the end. Next cruise I'll be checking into the quality of food prior to booking!

Very good. Loved our balcony.

Adequate

Didn't signup for anything just ventured off on our own.
