Dear Carnival,
On behalf of my family and myself, I would like to thank Carnival for the
best vacation we have taken. We were on a 7day cruise on the Glory that
left Port Canaveral July 31, 2004. We have travelled the Caribbean, Hawaii
and Europe and when my wife and three sons asked to take a cruise, I was
the lone hold-out. I had reservations about being on a ship with three
thousand passengers and 1200 crew. I feared long lines and dinner with
people we may not have anything in common with.
Our family, had the best time. We have three sons, 16, 14 & 11. Our 11
year old was hardly seen by the family the whole seven days between Camp
Carnival and the friends he met. Our 14 year old met every 14 year old
girl on the ship. We enjoyed being with our 16 year old, he was able to
spend time with my wife and I and it felt 'right' being in the bar, or
enjoying a show or sitting after dinner enjoying our new friends we sat
with each night at dinner.
The cabins, although both interior, were directly next door adn gave us
the ability to sleep in because their was no window (we loved it). The
meals were great and especially dinner, with our delightful servers and
delicious food. The spa services were great and we even had the boys get
their 'back to school' haircuts in the salon.
The staff in the Casino bar, dinner, Front Desk, Cabin Steward and the
pool area are superb. Thanks to all of the staff!
I hope we can be fortunate to cruise with Carnival in the future.
Regards,
Kenneth, Mary, Alex, Will & Tyler Rafferty
P.S. The reason we chose Carnival was because 10 years ago in 1994, we had
a fully paid cruise with Carnival, and our middle child Will, who has
Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, was hospitalized and restricted to a
wheelchair, and we were forced to cancel and you guys refunded our monet
DESPITE the fact we did not purchase the travel insurance.
