I could not eat some meals the beef was so tough. Small portions and had to understand menu. Deserts were common cake. the Baked Alaska was neopolitan icecream with a small thin white cake, not good!
Stateroom was just ok. Clean but the balcony smelled of smoke we could not leave the door open. It was a extended balcony (room 8131) and it was obstructed forward. The ship is made of compartments that are about 50 feet so you do not have a clean look from front to rear.
Only two real shows all week. The entertainment for other shows consisted of the staff doing tasks like hula hoop, line dance class listed as a show etc. The comedy acts were about 20 minutes including their introducations after a 45 minute waite to get in. Long lines.
We booked a fishing trip that listed and showed a normal cabin cruised. They picked up us in a open boat with no rest room and no cover and small. The seas were rough and it rained and was cold.
I have been on 3 princess cruises that were wonderful. I got into arguments with two officers over the service for drinks and the fact that the tables at the buffet were not being cleaned and we could not find space to sit. Workers assigned to clean the tables were standing around talking and not working. The officers gave me the excuse that they let people go on vacation so they did not have enough help. To sum it up, the shows were non existant, the service in common areas was either poor or non at all. There was no supervision at the pool or hot tubs. Smoking allowed on deck in common areas and on balconys.
