Itinerary: Carnival Liberty

This was a first time cruise for my husband and second for myself. I cruised on the Carnival Festival back in the 80s but was not sure if my husband would enjoy a vacation like this. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. The night shows were great. We enjoyed the ports of call. I was very impressed how the cabin boys would attempt to remember our names and call us by our first names as we passed them in the hallways. The dinning staff was great as was the food. We felt we were totally pampered and feel it was the best vacation for our money. We plan to cruise again in the near future. The food in the dining room was great. The food on deck was typical of buffet style, but we appreciated all the selection. We chose the least expensive stateroom which was small but we found to be totally functional. We totally enjoyed the shows in the main theatre each evening and always looked forward to. The entertainment was of the highest caliber. We cruised from Ft. Lauderdale to three islands. We chose the cruise we were on because my husband was intrigued with Mayan ruins and was hoping to tour some of them. He claimed it exceeded his expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise and wish to cruise again in the near future. Our only concern about cruising again, is where to go.
