We had a great time on the Liberty. She is a beautiful vessel and the crew could not have been nicer! The ports of call were beautiful and very scenic. The food was plenty and delicious.

The food was wonderful. On the Lido Deck, there was always a wide array of different salads, pastas, meats and desserts. Honestly there was not one thing that I ate that I didnt like. Formal dinner offers about 5-7 starters and about 8 main courses. The wait staff always ensures that you are in for a wonderful dining experience. Our waiter was not only funny but honest in what was delicious and what was not so enjoyable. For example, the rack of lamb is medium rare, he told one of our relatives that she probably would not enjoy the meal and he was correct, She ordered it anyway and returned it for another dish. All the meals look as though they are prepared individually by a world class chef.

Our stateroom was clean and well attended too. In fact, they made our beds 2 - 3 times a day. Each afternoon we were pleasantly surprised with a beautiful towel animal creation. They even host a class on how to create towel creatures at home.

The beds are soft and very comfortable. We had a hard time getting up every morning because the beds are so comfortable! Carnival even sells the mattresses to the public and trust me once you sleep in one of them, you will want to purchase one for your home. The bathrooms are a little small, but extremely clean. They provide you with more than an adequate amount of hand towels and bath towels. On the days when you went out for on our excursions, they provided big soft beach towels. Please remember to return them or you will be charged $22.00 for them.

There is a vast array of onboard activities, everything from the beautiful casino on the 5th deck to comedy or variety shows. They even have a 10 piece orchestra. They host a big dollar bingo game daily where you can win up too $1200 for a ten dollar bingo card. On the promenade deck there are 3 pools and a waterslide for the children to enjoy. If you are bored on this cruise, it is because you want to be.

Stay away from Jamaican cab drivers, I am sure that they are some reputable ones, but the one we had in Ocho Rios took us for a ride literally. We paid him $160 in American dollars for 1 hour worth of time. Once he found out that we were done tipping his friends he took us back to our pier. The excursions run an average of $70 per person. Some being more and others being a lttle less. They are quite expensive, but there are some you can enjoy for little or nothing. Dont let the price scare you away from the time of your life.

Our trip was great and I cannot say enough good things about the cruise experience. If you dont do anything else before you die, you MUST go on a cruise at least once in your life. It is an experience not to be missed.
