This was our 1st Carnival cruise and we had a great time. The shows and live music on board were top notch. The Jim Henson band and Blood Power stood out to us. The excursions were well organized. The staff we very friendly and the Cruise Director "Butch" was very entertaining. The food was average and the balconey room was very nice. I would recommend this cruise.

The food was OK. I think the quality is better on other lines, but there were enouph selections that I could always find something to eat. The staff in the Golden dinning room was very attentive and took good care of us.

The room was very clean and spacious for the 2 of us. We had a balcony room on the 6th floor. The room was cleaned nicely everyday. The bathroom was good sized and the hot water and water pressure were good. The safe worked well.

I enjoyed the shows very much. The production was top shelf and the music from the Jim Henson orchestra was awesome. They had a great big band concert in the cigar bar as well. The "Blood Power" concert surprised us. We thought it was just going to be a crazy load average "bar band", but they really rocked the house! Also the man and women who played in the lobby most nights were very good. They had a great selection of tunes to dance to. Overall the music was on of the best parts of the trip. The cuise director "Butch" really did a great job. He was a great MC and had us rockin late on the deck for the "Carnival color" party. The water slide was more fun than expected. We even played putt putt. We enjoyed the onbaord activities very much.

Did the stingray trip on Half Moon Cay. It was OK? The snorkel trip on Grand Turk was better. We did the 5 hour island tour on St. Thomas and enjoyed it very much. It was delivered as promised. We did our own thing and walked off the dock in San Juan. Once we got passed the taxi hounds, we found the island tram that took us to the forts and then we walked through Old San Juan and shopped before returning to the ship.

Had a great time. Would do it again.
