I was disappointed in Carnival compared to previous cruises with Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. I fell on the ship due to sloppy maintenance when ice cream had melted on their marble floor and had not been cleaned up. I saw the ship's doctor but Carnival ruined my white pants 'cleaning' them for me after the incident. They refused to accept resonsibility for ruining my pants and said I could write corp a letter when the cruise was over. I spoke to several staff about my fall but they left me with the impression that they did not care and all they were responsible for was ensuring I saw a doctor (several hour process). Their lack of concern and poor handling of cleaning my pants left a bad taste in my mouth. I will never choose Carnival for any future cruises. I would recommend either Celebrity or Royal Caribbean cruise lines over Carnival, even if the cruise was slightly higher in price. This was NOT a 'fun ship'. It was a drinking ship and the staff/services overall were unimpressive and even poor at times.

Very mediocre. Breakfasts never seemed to vary and the lunch selection at the buffet was weak. The fruit was not fresh. Dinner service took at least 2 hours every night. Way tooooooo long. We had a fun table but because we had to wait so long for dinner service, we missed some of the evening entertainment. Most of the food was really average which is a huge disappointment on a cruise. Pizza was terrible, oatmeal was awful and some of the entrees were bland.

Stateroom was fine and service was fine.

Very weak unless you liked drinking in bars. Nothing on board talked about the ports of call unless you wanted to buy things at the Carnival 'approved' stores. I would have appreciated some background on the countries/ports of call during our days at sea. Nothing intellectually stimilating-bring a couple of books cause you will be bored.

Enjoyed the swim with sting rays in Grand Cayman and our excursion on Cozumel. Jamaica was a major disappointment with the 'approved' tour to Dunns River Falls/Paradise Beach Party a HUGE disappointment. Save your money and don't do this excursion. My son and I were separated at the falls and no one ever tried to assist in getting us connected. We wasted over an hour and a half. EVERYONE wanted money from us in Jamaica.

Loved the Caribbean water. The cruise itself was a disappointment as was the service. I expect more from the world's largest cruise line. I will not be a repeat customer and plan to share my experience with fellow travelers to help them decide which cruise line to use for future vacations.
