WOW, what an adventure. I have taken many cruises before but never had an experience this poor. The prices on cruises, including this one, are about the same as I paid 25 years ago. But the experience is very different. The Liberty provided so so service combined with so so food. It felt like a cattle call. The buffet on Lido deck was horrible. The breakfast buffet had no waffles and to get smoked salmon you had to order room service, 1 1/2 hours, or eat in the main dining room. The buffet at dinnertime was even worse. I am not a fan of Ryans or Hometown Buffet but they were like 10 times better than the Liberty buffet. And if you just wanted a burger, forget it. No burgers on room service, and the grill on the Lido deck closes about 7PM. Now on to cabins. My group had 4 cabins that were located in the front part of the ship on deck 6. BIG MISTAKE!! The main showroom on deck 5 is just below and we could feel every drumbeat. So, if you stay up late every night, these deck 6 forward cabins are ok, but if you are in bed at 11PM and want to go to sleep, forget it.
