This was our first cruise and for all intents and purposes it was okay.
The food was awesome, especially in the dining room, courtesy of Shani and
Marija. The were the BEST of the BEST. They made us feel very comfortable
and always directed us to the right thing to order. Cabin service was
another matter however. We couldn't get pool towels delivered to the
cabin. Most of the times they made the bed and nothing else. Our basket of
toiletries we had to ask countless times to refill. Also the towels in the
bathroom were not refilled in a timely manner. The shows on the Miracle
were excellent and we had a lot of fun. The pools were small but they
clean and it wasn't too crowded. However, on the last day, one of the
pools was not usable so on that day, it was very crowded at the others.
Embarkation was fine and debarkation is express recommended. The Miracle
was always being cleaned and the crew for the most part was very nice. The
casino is magnificent and a lot of fun. We only would like to have more
activities without paying for them. If you are spending a lot of money to
go on a cruise, the nickel and diming could be eliminated, such as paying
for Bingo etc. Expect to dress formal two nights. The captain did mention
it and asked that everybody adhere but unfortunately some didn't and it
just didn't look right. On a scale of 1 - 10, we give it a 8. Also, if you
enjoy bottled water, my husband and I brought some along in our suitcase.
We didn't feel like paying $1.95 plus 15% gratuity for the bottled water.
