Embarking and Disembarking was no
problem. The ship was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The food was
good. Nick and Nora's served a fabulous meal. The Bacchus dining room food was
great, but not enough as the portions were too small. The dining room is covered
in pink lights.
The lido deck food is good. There were plenty of different items and they were
all fresh, it compared to a Golden Corral type of food. The juices were watered
down so I drank water. There were hotdogs and hamburgers at the pool, they were
great.
I had my digital camera stolen Thursday night of the cruise. It was put down in
one of the shops and when we went back it was gone. Strange behavior from the
ship store clerk led me to believe he knew something, but I couldn't prove it.
The camera reported missing was never found.
Ports of call-Grand Cayman, book the calls yourself and save money.
Cozumel-Go to Passion Island. It was great.
Belize-don't even get off the boat.
Costa Maya-Go to Jungle Beach early and leave about 1.
I have been on Carnival and Holland America and have had suites on both ships. I
had rooms 4228 and 4230 on the Miracle. They were nice, the balcony on 4228 is
about 7 feet wide by 45 feet long making it quite massive off the end of the
boat, it was a very nice suite.
Carnival is a family boat. If you have a family of young kids, go Carnival. If
you are alone, I do not recommend this ship.
