have gone on many cruises , did not expect a fantastic cruise from ny , the price was low , it was a 9 year old ship going to bahamas in feb ., i knew we would have fun however i knew not to expect too much .

going to give my opinion from beginning to end ............ i hope this is helpful to someone undecided about going on carnival from ny ...... the port was an absolute breeze , unexpectedly on the ship within 40 mins , dropped off by driver roughly at noon and found the port experience smooth and most carnival employees cheerful as well as helpful that was a Plus !

Overall we Enjoyed our Carnival Cruise on the MIRACLE .

surprisingly we found the dining room food to be very good , our waiter staff was friendly and on the ball at all times , honestly could not complain about dining room staff , everyone pleasant , friendly , on top of things seemed to be run very smooth we were pleasantly surprised , made a reservation for the steakhouse $ 70. add'l for a couple , we cancelled found it not necessary , we enjoyed the restaurant and chose to Donate our $ 70. to the Horrific Mr Lucky's Casino , STAY AWAY !!!

7th Floor our Steward was Eugene and he was wonderful , had a clean well kept room for our whole trip could not complain at all !!

our first day sat , i brought out items to be pressed as i usually do , have learned to ask politely the first day to have what items we will want neatly pressed and they are always brought back by the following day on hangers in plastic that way the rest of our cruise no matter what we do we dont have to worry that our clothes need to be pressed ............

btw , we had toothpaste , l , skin softener , breathe rights , and a few other items that were placed in the shell on the bathroom counter , there is shower gel and lemon scented hair shampoo in the shower , Of course I bring all my own supplies any way but i tried the shampoo and it was fine .........we always had plenty of clean towels OH AND A NEW TOWEL ANIMAL EVERY NIGHT !

WE ARE CASINO PLAYERS , however Mr Lucky's Casino was THE WORST I have ever seen as far as a ship casino and i have been on at least 20 cruises , even free cruises through the casinos this ship really has a tight reign on the machines and truly the worst i have ever seen , everyone complained especially real players , we knew who each other were because you were in there all the time by the last 2 days it was sickening to see how BAD it was never one time did we see bells go off with a jackpot ,, that is unheard of in a casino even a ship casino !

We reached a certain level of play the 2nd day and drank free the rest of the cruise while gambling in the casino saved us somewheres around 4 to 5 hundred on our alcohol , we were surprised with CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES sent to our room one day and a bottle of wine at dinner one evening we were given the chioce by surprise at dinner one evening ,

no excursions bahamas to us is like the keys , we got off and back on , we enjoyed the back of the ship serenity pool , redone , new hammocks , chairs , towels NO KIDS , a little small but simple and nice .

over all we enjoyed this cruise it was relaxing , we were in the newly wed game we are married 35 years so we were called the oldie weds !! we also went to the hynotist show and enjoyed that too ;
