Itinerary: Inside Passage Way

If you are taking your first trip to the Inside Passage Way you would probable think this was an excellent experience. But having been three times and two different Cruise Lines this was the worst cruise I have been on from employees, to food, to on board assistance.

My husband is on oxygen 24/7 they offered no relief for him during the cruise, stand in line like the other people. Way to many photographers.

Everyone was talking about how bad in the dining room was, mostly preferred to eat in the Buffet for variety. No seasoning, presentation was not there. For example, menu stated Idaho Potato with Sour Cream and Butter, none was available when served, had to request then no one from the team of three brought the sides to the table. Two days before the end of the cruise they ran out of Diet Coke on the whole ship.

We had open seating therefore we had a different server on the nights we went to the dining room. the formal night we had a previous cruiser tell us to order the BBQ Ribs they were better than the steak or lobster!!

Only one electrical outlet in the stateroom, could not charge my husbands oxygen in a timely matter, when we requested an adapter, they said there are a lot of people on the cruise if everyone received an adapter the ship would have an electrical shortage! No clocks in the Stateroom, bring your own clock for the room.

Can not rely on your Cellphone, ship time is different than United States and Canada. The TV information channel was always 12 to 24 hours behind; you never knew the temperature outside, the exact time, or where the ship was currently located.

A lot of in house promotions for the Spa; Detox, Acupuncture, Cellulite Reduction, Cosmetics, A lot of Trivia, Guess the songs, Bean Bag Toss, Casino had electronic Poker not a dealer

On a Senior Budget the price of the excursions were not something we could afford. We used public transportation, free to go hop on and off.

The weather was excellent. Ship location upon departure was in a great location in Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan. My husband did receive wheeler chair assistance Boarding the ship, Skagway and departure. The wheel chair cost for the week was $125.00
