This was my third cruise but my husband, brother and girlfriends first. We had a ball! This is my first time on Carnival and I have to say I was very impressed. I'm not sure what the other bad reviews were about. But the Carnival Pride is a beautiful ship. Maybe it's because I love art and I understood the theme of the ship and we all loved it. All the rooms that we saw were gorgeous.

I don't know where to begin. I will try to sum it up with one word.......SCRUMPTIOUS!!! Lobster, crab cakes, prime rib, filet migon, shrimp, ribs, etc, OH MY!!! The desert..........I wanted to take the pastry chef home!!!! I had to tell my family and friends to slow down so they wouldn't hurt themselves. One of my favorite meals was the Lousiana style ribs and for desert our Anniversary cake that my friend got for my husband and I because this was our 3rd Anniversary trip.

We all had inner rooms.....which is a first for me.......I was so impressed with the size. We were on the 5 deck aft. Again, I don't know what people are expecting but the rooms were plenty big for 2 people. I wouldn't suggest any more than that. The most impressive part about the room was the bathroom. I was so use to backing in and trying to back out but not this time. My husband thought I was crazy because I kept going on and on about the size. It was big enough for my husband and I to literally brush our teeth together and we are not short people and I'm a voluptuous woman. Loved the shower. Another thing I was impressed with is the fact that, if you are in your room for a length of time, you could actually watch a show/movie that wasn't taped.........cable on a cruise ship......who knew?!?!

The oneboard activies were great. Loved the love and marriage show......still laughing about that.

We didn't do any excursions from the ship. We did take a tour from one of the local tour guides in Nassau and it was nice.

All in all, we had a very nice trip.......didn't want to leave the ship when it docked back in Baltimore. I would definitely recommend this ship and this cruise line. I would definitely would take a Carnival cruise again. Actually we already are looking at some now.
