Just got off the pride a couple hours ago. I am still moving mind the spelling.
Embarkation-
It was alright not bad. Very confusing there was no1 telling where to go but
figured it out. Took about an 1 1/2 to get on.
Mermaids Grill-
Very good; much of the stuff was repeated day after day. Pizza was very greasy.
Also they over seasoned almost every food. If you dont go to the Dining room for
dinner get the deli it is very good.
Normandie-
Only dinned there 3 times because we booked late tours. Service was terrible but
gave free bottle of wine. The menu's were "hard to read" for some because we
went on the disney maginc in the carribean 2 years ago. Food was ok in general.
Our waiter Deepesh was great. Always wanting to help us.
Entertainment-
Shows were very stupid. Do not waste time to go to them. Spend time with friends
or something else. Pride idol is a joke. It is kareoke in front of 400 people!
whoopie!
Room-
very small, i had room 4196. Our steward was very good. Any time i saw him he
always said hi with a smile on his face.
You will notice the boat rock a lot!!
Take a bonine and it helps a little bit. Here is a list of places feeling the
movement very much.
-Right hand side of Mermaids in the back
-Normandie Restaurant
-Sunset Garden (still a fun place to hang out)
-The arcade
-Taj Mahal
Places that dont feel much movement-
- Beauties
- The atrium
- Any rooms towards the back of the boat
I read reviews before i got on that said that it moves the most the first and
last day. I found out thats it all stays the same.
Buy the fountain fun cards. They cost 44 dollars but are worth it. Also if you
have a teenager; have them make there own friends because camp carnival is
"cheesy"
Overall you have a great cruise with some slight problems.
Would i go again; probably in the winter when it is cheaper then the summer.
