This was our first cruise--and we were delighted! True, we had no basis of comparison, but we know good service when we see it, and we can't wait to go back--maybe next time, Alaska. :) We knew to do our homework before we went, and from watching the Travel Channel, to reading blogs and different vacation websites and newsletters--we were ready. It helped to have an idea of what we were getting into, and again--we can't wait to get into it again! From the food, to the international crew, to the service, to the shore excursions--truly, this was our best vacation EVER, and we know the best is yet to come

The food was great! We sat with an enjoyable group of people and our servers were attentive, kind, funny and efficient. What more could you ask for? I ate things I'd never heard of and I was pleased with the international flavor of it all. We went to a cooking demonstration one afternoon which inspired us to make reservations at their steakhouse and that, too, did not disappoint :)

This is the only thing that I was slightly disappointed with. We had a spa room with robes and slippers and a charming balcony--but the room itself was much SMALLER than I expected. It was clean, though, and we loved our balcony. Next time, however, we might be willing to pay more for a suite just because I like SPACE.

Hilarious! We watched a version of the newlywed game (although, couples ranged from being married 2 weeks, to 17 years, to 50 years). My husband was too "scared" too participate, but I would've loved it! We laughed hysterically and the Entertainment Captain (Gustav from Canada) was the perfect host.

Don't miss parasailing in St. Thomas and the dolphin encounter at the Atlantis if the Bahamas! The dolphins were as temperamental as teenagers and they are now my favorite animals ... the dolphins, that is (wink). I was hoping that I wouldn't encounter "Jaws" while playing with them and I/we never did, so next time--we'll swim with them in deep water instead of just the shallow water.

We went to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, the Dominican Republic and to Atlantis in Nassau, Bahamas. We also went on a submarine in St. Thomas and on an historical evening tour of Old San Juan in Puerto Rico. We went to their fabulous spa during days at sea, and we bought art during the Art Auction. We learned to make towel animals at the towel folding class; we swam, ate, slept, laughed, and ate some more, went for romantic walks (even onboard), and I will say it over, and over again--we had the time of our lives ....
