Clean ship, below average food, professional Vegas style shows. The fact that the ship was not going to stop at Mazatlan was not represented to me prior to booking. To make it worse, a passenger got sick when the ship left Long Beach and we only had 2 days in Mexico -- 1 day in Cabo and 1 day in Puerto Vallarta. The rest of the trip was like spending a week in a hospital, eating clean but tasteless food.
Too much quantity and variety, but not enough quality. Someone in charge of the food service actually needs to take the food before inviting 3,000 people on board. The only decedent food was pizza and burgers. The sit-down dinner food was actually worse than the fast food. Also the lines were long. Their Mongolian stir-fry stand had the longest line, but the final product was disappointing. Couldn't believe that fresh stir-fried wok food can actually tastes bad.
Clean and nice. Pleasantly decorated.
Plenty of activities for everyone. But too crowded everywhere.
The excursions were good. Especially the sea safair trip to remote fishing villages, horseback riding and snorkeling off the beaten track in Puerto Vallarta was so much fun. I would use the vendor, Vallarta Adventures, again when I visit PV.
Had I known that we would spend only 2 days off the boat and spend 5 days on the boat, I would not have book the trip. The ship and the eating areas were clean, but the food had no taste.
