I would like to start off by saying I had a great time on the cruise to Nova
Scotia. People were great, food was good, weather couldn't of been better and
seas were calm. Now I have been on the Disney Cruise where guest are taken care
of no matter what complaint it may be. On the last night of the cruise I
experienced something unlike I have never had to deal with, Let me first say
that I live 20 minutes from Atlantic City NJ..
I was playing black jack on the last night of the cruise, and low and behold I
catch the dealer cheating, now in most cases some might say this was just an
oversight or a mistake in math. But...I had to get loud and draw attention to
myself to get a pit boss over to see the wrong doing. after I proved the dealer
was wrong...(dealer had 23 and I had 19. dealer took everyone's chips) but I
said. stop don't touch those cards. and asked for a pit boss 3 times.....after
being paid my winnings...I asked if he was going to continue to deal at that
table. and the pit boss informed me that he would remain.....I felt that I could
no longer stay there in good standing and play knowing this guy was pulling a
fast one...so I had to leave the table. In Atlantic City and Las Vegas, most
cases that dealer is replaced just for comfort reasons.....I cant believe that
Carnival even though in International waters would allow this practice. I doubt
I would ever cruise carnival again....And my sympathy goes out to those on the
1st and 2nd decks who had to breath Diesel fuel the entire trip, some rooms were
so bad you couldn't sleep in them.....Get it together Carnival, to many other
cruise lines out there to choose from.
