Please read this review if you're considering going on the Triumph as most of the other reviews on this site are negative and I had a fabulous time.

The embarkation process was very smooth and while we did have to wait in line for a little while it was to be expected considering how many people were trying to get on at the same time.

Once we were on board there were cocktails waiting for us on Lido deck...brilliant. The ship (or vessel as it should be called) is huge and beautifully decorated.

We were upgraded to a balcony room on the first day which was fantastic. We're not sure why...just lucky I guess.

The food was fantastic and anyone who faults it has expectations that are way too high. The dinners in the London or Paris dining rooms could not be faulted and the service was superb.

The tours were great and reasonably priced. The islands were lovely and the locals were very welcoming.

Only one warning to single people...our cruise was all married people with families or couples. If you're looking to meet someone special this is not the cruise for you. While I am single and so is my friend that I went with, we still had a great time and met some lovely people.

The debarkation process was very smooth also as we chose to take our bags of the vessel ourselves.

All in all I had a great time and would highly recommend Carnival to anyone looking for a relaxing, self indulgent holiday.
