Perfect cruising experience. Everything went smoothly and enjoyable. Zero complaints!

Food was good as usual. Buffet is typical cafeteria style at the South Beach; we ate breakfast there every morning. Eggs leave a bit to be desired, but everything else was very good. Those chocolate muffins are incredible!
24 hr pizza buffet (that also serves Ceaser salad) and (no longer 24 hr) hamburger/hotdog buffet were awesome as well. Ate way too much of both!
Fine dining in the London was fantastic. Flat iron steak is awesome for the nights where the selection of the day didn't grab me. Ceaser salad before every meal, baked potato with every meal, and of course the chocolate melting cake after every meal is a given. Dijon was our sever a couple of nights, this guy is fantastic! Other nights were rotated between servers, but had zero complaints on any of them. They were all very nice and attentive. Natasha at the hostess stand was always smiling and oh, oh so gorgeous! ;-)
Room service was awesome as well. Ordered grllled cheese most every night. (Yes I ate too much on this trip lol)

Stateroom was large (room 1398) w/ a window. Our room was almost completely aft, port side, which was nice because we didn't have people walking and talking going past our room. Room stewards kept the room tidy and stocked. Carnival seems to have larger rooms than most other cruise lines from what I've been told. Bed was super comfy...slept like a baby every night. Zero complaints on the room; it was perfect!

Onboard activities were nice. We went to a couple of shows, and played some of the trivia in the Rome lounge. I took first prize (the only prize actually) in the movie trivia. They showed a still shot from 40 different movies and we had to write down what each movie was. Couldn't believe I won, and went on stage and talked to Charlie. (I got a score of 39/41). Won the 24 kt gold, plastic lol, "ship on a stick". Good times :-)
The comedian was an Asian guy (sorry can't remember his name). We saw him last year and he had the same routine, but it was still very funny. (For those of you who were there or have been there, he's the guy w/ the tag line of " write it dowwwwwwn") Others in my party went and saw the late night comedians and said they were super funny.

Excursions are always fun. Despite what some others may say, I say stick with the ones sponsored by Carnival. Our snorkeling expo in Belize got cancelled due to thunderstorms, but we tendered over and shopped and ate. It was still very, very fun. Mohagany Bay in Roatan is AWESOME! Went snorkeling there, ate, drank, layed out. Had a blast! Beautiful place. I recommend taking the flying beach chairs!Passion Island in Cozumel is BEYOND paradise. Seriously did NOT want to leave!

Over all it was perfect. I've read so many negative reviews, and just can't understand them. So many gripe about trivial things. Listen, I was on a cruise for a week, got waited on hand and foot, went to beautiful locations. How can anyone complain about that? I gave 5 stars to everything, and that's an honest score. Granted, it's only my second cruise (read my first on here from 09/10 under the user name "Gulf Coast Fanatic"), but I have yet to have the first complaint about Carnival or anything on the cruise/ports. WELL worth the money!
