This is the first cruise for me and my fiance'. We found the room well maintained. The towel creatures were cute. The balcony was smaller than we expected. The ship rocked more than we thought it should but that was due to the gulf wave directions. The people were nice, no major complaints from anyone. My fiance' did have trouble with the food. Not sure if it was the food or if the food just did not agree with her. We took ginger capsules during the trip so we didn't suffer any motion sickness. The spa was great. The products are way over priced. The shore excursion was fantastic. We took the Twister, a speed boat that does 360 degree turns and soaks you through and through. Our guide Jorge and pilot Willy were the best. They take care of your belongings in a water tight container, lock you in your seats, and insist that you are on vacation and to have a good time. It was very easy to do. We went to a private island although it was accompanied by 4 other groups, it was not crowded. The food was wonderful, the service was immediate. The water and temperatures were perfect. The sand is so soft. The shops are rather expensive so we waited to shop on the main street. On the way back, Jorge and Willy will soak you again. I recommend not wearing glasses unless you have a tie on them. I almost lost mine. I don't recommend this trip for anyone with back or neck issues. It is rough and jerky and will leave you in pain if you are not prepared. What a rush.

The food was okay. The buffet was good and had more choices. We did try the formal dinning but the portions were small. The wait staff are very nice. The dancing waiters were a blast. We ate at the buffet and outside grills mostly. The sandwich bar was great. Room service was also wonderful. it does take some time to get your food to your room.

The room was decent. They kept it clean and we always returned to something different each day. The towel animals were cute. The bed was a bit rather hard. But they will bring you a memory foam mattress should you need a little padding. The air conditioning was great. I like it super cool and it was cool in my room. The balcony was smaller than I thought it would be but there were two chairs and a table with plenty of room to move around.
