Overall, this was my first cruise and it will be my last, at least with Carnival.

The food was not bad, but certainly nothing special. I have better meals on a daily basis. The pricing on the alcoholic beverages was outrageously out of line. This is disappointing. You are not allowed to bring anything other than one bottle of wine on board. Those of us who are not wine drinkers were taken advantage of by the unfair prices on beer.

I did like my stateroom. I was in a room with a view and it was not a bad size. It is a good thing that I liked this room since I stayed in it most of the time. This was the only thing I liked about this trip.

Because we were fighting a trpoical storm for most of the trip, the outdoor activities were severely hampered. The only enternainment I enjoyed was the Karaoke. Everything else seemed staged and stale.

I never got off the ship. I stayed in my stateroom.

Everything was about average. Nothing was special. Disembarking was an absolute nightmare. There was no organization. After forcing us out of our staterooms, they left us sitting in a smelly casino for hours. When we finally made our way to the third floor, there was a fight about to break out between two irate guests. The children had to witness this. There was NO security to be found. We were literally on our own. What if this had been an emergency situation? People would have been hurt or worse. Not only did this cause me to be hours late, it left me with a negative attitude regarding this ship and this company. I wrote to Carnival complaining about what had happened, but all I got was an apology. To them, my time which was wasted by them, meant nothing. The guest treatment on this ship was abyssmal.
