There was a large variety of food and cuisines offered, however, the quality of most of the food was below average. Items such as breads, eggs, and fruits were just fine. Dinner items such as prime rib, lobster, and shrimp sounded great, but the quality was very poor, thus, the taste was poor. I suggest skipping evening dinners where you are given a reservation and finding other sources of food.
I had a room with a balcony which made relaxing in the room with a beautiful view of the ocean amazing. If you plan on spending time in your stateroom, I suggest having a room with a balcony. Note that the balcony does not offer a lot of privacy from your neighbors.
I enjoyed the onboard activities and never got board. The piano bar was tons of fun! I also enjoyed a couple of great tasting cigars at the cigar bar, which also had great live music. The casino was fun and not overcrowded. I took in a musical at the main stage which was very entertaining.
I enjoyed the submarine excursion at Cozumel where I got to see all sorts of fish and marine life (including a shark). It was well organized and fun.
Overall, I had a great time and the staff was extremely courteous and attentive. The ship was overly crowded by the pools and at meal times, but I expected that. If not for the low quality of the food, I would definitely repeat this cruise, by because of the food, I'm not sure if I will go again.
