The Valor is the newest ship out there and is carnivals new pride and joy. It
was by far the nicest and most beautiful ship we have been on yet. Still it is a
ship I would not recommend for past cruisers. Its seems like carnival took all
of there problem children and put them onto this boat for punishment. There were
very few polite employees which is rare for carnival. This crew by far was the
worst we have had on our 3 cruises with carnival. Even though it has 2 more
buffet lines on the lido deck that the Triumph class, you couldn't tell. The 24
hr pizza place was a joke. They never had fresh pizza, you had to wait in a line
for 10 minutes and then they took your order and said 10 minutes OK. Terrible
service all around on this boat. The long lines and crowded decks are not
pleasing to past cruisers who enjoy the smaller boats. They cram too many people
on this boat. Embarkation is fine if your in the Skippers club, if not good
luck. The ports you have to tender off the boat you will want to pull your hair
out. The cruise director is young and very immature, and that seems to be the
theme here. Our cabin steward was excellent. She along with her assistant were
our bright spot of the trip. So overall if you want to see a beautiful ship and
dont mind being pissed off most of the time go for it. But if you enjoyed your
last carnival cruise dont ruin that experience by trying the valor.
