I have just gotten back from my second cruise and I have to say that this was
the cruise to be on. I didn't want to leave!
Service was great on this ship. All of the attendants were very kind and
courteous and was happy to fulfill all of my husband and my two teenaged girls
needs. Our dinner table waiter and waitress were the best I have ever had.
Always there for anything we wanted and came with a smile on their face.
The ship was very beautiful. A patriotic theme was presented throughout the
whole ship. My family and I had the early dinner seating in the Washington
dinning room. The dinning room was done with pink lighting throughout the whole
room. It was fun but also elegant.
Night life on the Valor was just as exciting as the ports themselves. My two
teenaged girls went to "club 02" every night which is a teen dance club then was
ran by the teen cruise director. They had a great time and met very nice kids.
My husband and I spent our nights everywhere. we listened to the "one man band"
outside of the casino a few times. And everyone in my family enjoyed the shows
that were put on. Especially Valor Idol which was performed on the last night.
It showed lots of talent on the ship.
The ports were very nice except for our first day in Nassau was a little rushed
because we only had until 2pm. But it was beautiful none-the-less. We never had
any trouble finding a taxi, they were always willing to take us where we wanted
to go. St. Thomas was also a good island with many opportunities to shop. St.
Martin was a interesting beach island... they were nude beaches!
Overall I had a wonderful time on the Valor and if I take another cruise I would
happily sail with Carnival.
