Overall a very nice cruise experience. Dinner in Main Dining room was always
excellent with Very good service from all. Breakfast at Rosie's got old so i
tried the Dining Room for breakfast but it was all the same. The Deli was very
good and made a nice change for lunch. The Cabin Steward was very good as was
most of the entertainment. It was hard to find a quiet place on deck to read a
book though...kind of a party boat...I guess. The one shore excursion to
Blackboards Castle was a rip-off and everything was closing as we arrived. I
thought I deserved a refund for that $38, but Carnival didn't seem interested.
Besides feeling like I was nothing but a walking $$ sign to the cruise line...I
had a very good time. Shore excursions are what you make of them and there are
plenty on taxi's and things to do. I wouldn't recommend booking onboard as they
rip you off. The Cruise Director and the Matr'a de were very entertaining and
helpful. My room was also upgrading from what looked like a jail cell in the
brochure to a very nice room with a BIG Queen bed. Ships decor was a little to
patriotic even for me...But, I'd go again in a minute. I'm a Minuteman!! Best
vacation for the $$ : Just watch out for all those room charges...They do add
up. Have Fun!!
