My husband and I had a great time. Staff were efficient, food was good and service was excellent. Boat and rooms were very clean and excursions were enjoyable. There were many families on this boat and it seemed that the "Fun Ship" motto was true.

There was a sushi bar, free ice cream, fish & chip stand and a deli were nice culinary additions. Buffets were good and open often. Food poolside and late night was available along with room service.

For the first time we booked an inside room. We were worried we wouldn't like it but the rooms on Carnival were a good size and the bathroom was bigger than the bathrooms I had in my balcony rooms with Princess & Royal Car. There were nice linens and free samples of toothpaste and razors in the bathroom. Room stayed dark in the morning so we slept very well!

There was lots to do! There were so many organized activities, especially by the pool. They were great for all ages. The casino was always busy and there was good shopping on the boat. The spa and gym were well equipped. There was also lots for kids to do including a daily kids program and paid babysitting after 10pm on formal nights.

The scuba diving was good in Grand Caymen but much better in Cozumel. We went zip lining in Belize and had a great time. The bus ride took an hour so you get a tour of the major city (very small) and the countryside. We had a guide the whole way. Honduras is very poor so if you are up for adventure you can walk off the dock and explore but people live differently and it can be hard to look at for some people. In this case, I suggest a pre-booked excursion.

Prices for booking on the boat may be $10-20 more expensive than finding someone on shore but they are well organized, easy and you don't have to haggle or worry about getting ripped off. We booked our trip the day before and didn't regret it. We had not been on Carnival before but found it to be lots of fun and well organized. The week flew by quickly and getting both on and off the boat went smoothly. Food was good but don't expect 5 star dining. If that's what you want you can pay $30 U.S. extra to go to the onboard Steakhouse. I would suggest cruising with Princess or another upscale line.

This vacation was good value for the money and we had no complaints. The staff worked very hard to ensure this was an enjoyable trip.
