This was my first cruise. I had read some poor reviews prior to departure, to my surprise I experienced none of the problems others had.

Check-in was very simple and seemed well organized. We were on the ship at 12:30 with a 4pm departure.

Our room was clean and our steward and his staff wonderful.

I was impressed with the food in the dinning room, and also the ability to order off the emnu if you could not find something you wanted. There was food available at all times and the quality always seemed good!

I enjoyed our 3 ports of call. Costa Maya is in a major development phase, but the weather was beautiful, the water was warm and beer cold.

We were married in the Grand Cayman. Carnival really took care of us and the 32 people in our group. The location- The Grand Old House is amazing. I would reccomend this to anyone as a place to dine.

I enjoyed Ocho Rios. Dunns River is a must. The snorkeling was great. I would recommend a stop at Margeritaville in the Island Village near the ship.

I enjoyed the shows I saw.I would recommend going for tea at least once. There always seemed entertainment for all interest.

The weather was great the whole time. We had a balcony, and will do so in the future. It was great to have coffee (delivered by room service) every morning out on the balcony before starting the day.

I enjoyed my first cruise and will use Carnival in the future.
