This was the first vacation I had taken without children in 10 years, Me and my husband had booked the cruise with a large group, but spent most of our time just together.

I enjoyed the food the most. This was the only cruise we have been on, so I have nothing to compare it to; but, for a beginning cruiser, I was very impressed.

There was quite a bit of disruption from some construction (chipping and grinding of metal) each day, which I complained about constantly. However, when I finally complained personally to the Chief Purser, we were compensated quite kindly.

We did not get off at Playa del Carmen, and went on to Cozumel. It was interesting to see the little shops, but they were mostly a rip off. I was not impressed with the beaches at all, as they were very coarse, and you could not walk bare-footed.

We will definitely take this cruise again, but we will not get off the boat when it ports.. there is plenty of entertainment on the boat.
