First, I would like to thank all who posted reviews
prior to our trip most were truly helpful.
WARNING! If you want to have a Good time I would like to recommend
Carnival’s Ecstasy.
We being first time cruisers decided to take a short
trip, we consists of my Wife 40, My daughter 16, her best friend 15, and I, 41.
In a large nut shell. The service on the ship was as excellent !!
The rooms were not as bad as the horror stories you have already read.
Do pack an air freshener you may not need it, but it came in handy.
Food’s not bad, the main dining room was a bit formal for the kids liking.
and the menu changed every night.
One thing to remember ( the staff on board are
mostly non-American,
Including the chefs, so if your looking for Mom’s fried chicken or a backyard
burger, your not going to get it in the main dining rooms, unless Mom is from someplace in Eastern Europe) I liked the variety.
The anytime eatery was pretty good too, buffet style there is were you’ll find
the back Yard burgers, Very good.
Always something to do, Pool, Drinking ( We Don’t, But there’s plenty), we spent
a lot of tome in the card room, nice and quite. Kareoke for all, comedians good
on sailing days.
On shore :
Catalina, Snorkeling 35.00 per. Great Time
Glass Bottom Boat 24.00 pre Great Time
Site seeing
Ensenada, Horseback Riding 40.00 per awesome
La Bufadora get it off the boat its cheaper, bring a camera !

We had a great time, The Crew and fellow cruisers were very friendly
Take the kids, take a break, have a good time.
