First thing I would like to say is me and my wife read many reviews before taking this cruise. This being our first cruise and a gift for our wedding we were new to this experience. The reviews where mixed that we read and for the most part very positive but with several reviews nit picking things that we now believe are not at all deserving of the Carnival cruise lines. We found everything to be very people pleasing in every way shape and form. The embarkation and debarkation was organized and effortless and didn't take much time at all. Our stateroom was meticulously kept clean and tidy by our steward, at least twice a day and sometimes more, and the towel animals that the steward made was entertaining and enjoyable to find on our bed when turning in for the night, along with the bed turned down, and a mint on our pillows. The stateroom was a bit small for me personally being of a large stature myself 6' 7" but for the price was well worth the money, since you won't spend much time in there other then sleeping anyway. The food in the dining rooms was exquisite and well prepared and service was top notch. The buffets and snacks including room service which was available 24 hours a day was also impeccable. The crew, from the officers down to the waiters and stewards were so polite and friendly and helpful during the whole cruise. In Ensenada we walked to the downtown shopping and bars because it was so close to the ships docking. We did not take any of the tours so we can't make any conclusions about those.

Some reviews said that the casino's slots did not pay off at all, we found that not to be true, me and my wife won about $500.00 the first night alone, and had a great time doing so.

To sum up our experience it was the best time we have had on a vacation to date and highly recommend it for couples as well as families, we intend to take our kids next time. (which will be soon)
